Delete your Voxter account

You can delete your Voxter account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what gets removed, and what we are required to keep.

1How to delete your account

Option A — From the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Voxter app on your phone.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Option B — If you have already uninstalled the app

Email us at support@voxter.eu with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address you used to register, and your username (handle) if you remember it. We will process your request within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 17.

2What gets deleted

When your deletion request is processed, the following data is removed from our active systems:

3What is retained, and for how long

A small amount of information is retained for the periods below, because we are required to keep it by law or because it protects the safety of other users. Once these periods expire, the data is permanently deleted.

Note on transaction records: Bulgarian and EU tax law requires us to keep records of in-app purchases for 5 years. These records contain only purchase metadata (date, amount, product) — not your account profile.
